{ July Studio AE Sneak Peek and a layout }

Here is a little peek for July Studio AE. It’s a fun set, perfect for summer.

Here is one more layout I created using June Studio AE - Life Right Now by Ali Edwards.

I used some new papers I got at a Scrapbook Convention in Arlington earlier this month by Simple Stories. I created the hexagon border, the card and the arrow in my Silhouette Studio.

The sentiments are stamped on white cardstock using ColorBox Dye ink: Blue Jean and cut out. I really love this stamp set and I can use it on every layout.

Summer is in full swing here in Texas and we are staying cool at the pool.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Red, White and Blue }

Hi and welcome to another Impression Obsession challenge.
Our next challenge, "Red, White and Blue", starts today, June 21, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, June 27, at 10 PM.
Create a new card with this theme and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between June 21 - 27. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.
I had so much fun creating this card.
I created a honeycomb background in my Silhouette Studio (Free for download below). After I cut it out I adhered only the outline to the card front. The hexagons are stamped using Herringbone and Quatrefoil Cover-a-card stamps and randomly adhered to the card.

I stamped the tree from Solid Tree stamp set and die cut the tree using Bare Tree Die. I added Flower soft to the tree.

The tree is layered over a glassine bag. Inside I tucked a white tag that I stamped with summer words from Sun & Fun stamp set.

{ Technique Tuesday Signed, Sealed and Delivered }

Last month I mentioned our new Signed, Sealed and Delivered collection of stamps!

These sweet stamps, which cost just $2.99 per set, are designed to look like round seals. We sized these stamps to work well as an image on a hand-made card, accents on memory keeping projects, or for DIY party projects. Each Signed, Sealed and Delivered stamp set works with a 1¾" circle punch.

They are available now through Technique Tuesday. Also, check our store locator to find a store near you that may have already ordered them or to ask them to get them in stock.

Today the Design Team is posting creations using these stamps.

Here is my card.

Number 1 boy 68655

I created the star base in my Silhouette Studio. I cut it out and adhered it over green polka dot paper from the new Echo Park Boys collection.

I covered a chipboard star from Fundamental Superstars with washi tape. I stamped and cut the Number One Seal and adhered it to the star using 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web.

The arrow is designed by me and cut out with the Cameo.

Please visit Technique Tuesday blog for more inspiration and ideas.

{ Fun with iCraft Adhesive by Therm O Web }

You're the best 68744

I wanted to share a new product by Therm O Web called iCraft Adhesive.

iCraft Dots by Therm O Web

 iCraft Adhesive Dots are double-sided adhesive circles to create paper flowers and other embellishments with ease. The DT girls have been using them on various projects Therm O Web blog.

I decided to combine 2" iCraft Dots with confetti. I have been collecting it slowly from punches and Silhouette cuts.

I peeled of a 2" iCraft Dot from the backing and poured confetti over the top (the sticky side). Press down with your finger and lift. What didn't stick will fall off. Most of my confetti is from EK Success Swiss Cheese edge punch.

The tiny circles filled those few little empty spaces that I could see. I just used my exacto knife to pick them up and add them to the empty areas. Peel the back of the iCraft Dot and adhere it to your project.

I used MemoryTape Runner XL by Therm O Web to adhere my patterned paper and die cut.

For the twine bows I used Zots Adhesive Dots by Therm O Web.

This is a fun way to add confetti to your projects.

I am using a new Cover-a-card Quatrefoil CC124 stamp by Impression Obsession.

I created two cards.

You are the best 68811

This first one features a honeycomb die cut front (created by me in my Silhouette Studio). I cut a rectangle tag that I stamped with a script from Verbose stamp set using Dune Pigment ink. I tucked Lovely Pink Pearl and Fancy Bird crystals under the ribbon bow.

I stamped the butterflies from Fabulous by Ali Edwards stamp set and cut them out. I added crystals to their bodies. The sentiment is from Smooch by Ali Edwards stamp set.

Missing you 68888

For the second one, I stamped the patterned paper with Urban Blueprint using Blue Jean Chalk ink. I layered a glassine bag over the top and I tucked a little note stamped with words from Missing You by Ali Edwards stamp set using the same ink.

I added Fantasia – Lime/Olive and Fancy Bird crystals to the card and envelope.

Here is a closer look at the stamped tag.
